This release almost didn't happen, a classic case of one track that seemed without a home while sandwiched in amongst various other very different sounds. Eventually it poked out enough to fuel the creation of another track, shaping this release into what it is now.
It's really satisfying when music does the job of leading the way, waiting patiently for us stupid humans to work out what the deal is. Curation huh.
This one is experimenting with matters of the groove and energy, arguably something that we haven't really poked at for some time, maybe since the earlier releases actually, which feels good.
But enough of the words, in a world seemingly full to the brim of convincing one person to look over there while the other is pulling to look over here, it all seems a bit redundant when your ears will tell you what is what. Listen to them.

“Butt naked, tracky, straightjacketed 2-step and skudgy bleep ’n bass from London’s SM-LL camp
Patently skooled in SND and Rian Treanor tekkers, the A-side works up brittle claps and staggered dub chords into a mazy, frictional fuss distorted with gritty noise. The B-side settles down a bit for a stringent, strident tussle of flinty drums and shifty bleep melody hingeing around swanging bass and clambering arps like an askew Pan Sonic piece.”

“Next level loops and repetitions. On repeat!”
